Residents are to be advised that helicopters will be operating in the area on March 28th (Saturday) and March 29th (Sunday) as part of a controlled aerial feral hog eradication effort.
The aerial feral hog eradication activity will take place on the north end of White River Lake.
This operation is being conducted to help manage the feral hog population, which poses risks to agriculture, property, and local ecosystems. The helicopter is here to perform an important service for the White River Lake community.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE:
- Do NOT chase, follow, or approach the helicopter for any reason.
- Keep a safe distance from all aerial operations.
- Be mindful of increased low-flying aircraft activity during these dates.
